SYNOPSIS

It is often said that New York is defined as a city of multiple personalities. Dos Minutos - NY is a set of 26 mini interviews lasting approximately 2 minutes, about latinox migration experience and the creative lives and and innovative work of Puerto Ricans and Latinos that inhabit it. Explore topics such as cultural heritage, popular wisdom and achievements. In just two minutes we are approaching a meeting point of ethnicities and cultures. Through colorful characters interviewed, we see an urban landscape of bustling streets and avenues of Midtown, neighborhoods, museums and multicultural festivities and more.


 This project brings together different personalities with great contrast, such as a mechanical woman who disarms a car transmission in just 7 minutes, a visual artist who performs animation in videos with objects found inanimate characters, a musician from Trios, who owns the only LP record store in NY, a road marker, a girl boxer, a curator of the Roman and Greek art collection of the Metropolitan Museum and a visual artist of the art of the hologram, among others.

 Produced for Channel 6 TV of Puerto Rico, where it was broadcast daily between program and program. He was nominated as a Special Program, for the 2004 Emmy Award in directing and production. The series contains original music, digital animation and extensive research, editing and solid scripts.

    Hola Anaida , acabo de ver tu pagina y me retrotrae a los días en que trabajamos juntos en Escariche, la gente aun recuerda tu trabajo y yo los momentos que pasamos con amigos y paisanos , fue genial , en Mayo voy a realizar un taller en Madrid , titulado mestizaje en el cual realizaremos obra artistas amigos interviniendo en mi obra o yo en la de ellos , si estuvieras en Europa serias muy bien venida , reencontrarías a viejos conocidos a los que también voy a invitar , un abrazo fuerte , Rufino.

Introducción Próxima a cumplir su cuadragésimo cumpleaños, la Bienal de La Habana ha sido un referente dentro de los circuitos expositivos y “bienaleros” no solo de nuestro continente, sino a escala global.
